Haltbar is a pantry management app. Scan barcodes to add food items, track expiry dates, find recipes by ingredient availability and create smart shopping lists.

Tap "Add" and point your camera at the barcode. Name, image and category are filled in automatically. In batch mode you can scan multiple products in a row.

Each recipe shows what percentage of ingredients you already have in your inventory. In the ingredient list you see green checks (✓ available) and red crosses (✗ missing). Missing ingredients can be added directly to your shopping list.

The AI recipe generator creates recipes based on your pantry. Choose a cuisine (e.g. Italian), difficulty, cooking time and diet (e.g. Vegan, Low Carb) — the AI generates a matching recipe.

The shopping list automatically sorts items by supermarket department (produce, dairy, spices, etc.). You can add missing ingredients directly from recipes and check off completed items.

Yes! Under "Household" you can invite others via an invite code. All household members share the same inventory and shopping list.

An account is optional. Without an account the app works locally on your device. With an account (Google, Apple or email) you can sync your data and share a household with others.

Yes, Haltbar is completely free — no subscription, no ads, no account required.

Try the following steps:
• Close the app completely and restart it
• Update the app to the latest version
• Restart your device
